Lanternfield Privacy Policy

Effective October 28, 2026

Lanternfield is a puzzle game published by kbird.ai (Kristopher Richards). This policy explains what data the game does and does not handle.

The short version

Lanternfield does not collect or track your personal data. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party trackers in the game. The only thing that ever leaves your device is feedback you write and tap send on.

What stays on your device

Your progress, settings, and best times are saved only on your device, so the game can remember where you left off. This information never leaves your device and is removed if you uninstall the game.

Challenge codes

The game can generate a short challenge code that describes a puzzle and your solve time, so you can race a friend. Codes are created only when you tap to create one, and they travel only where you paste them. The game does not send codes anywhere on its own.

Feedback you choose to send

The game includes optional feedback tools: rating a garden and sending a comment. If you use them, your rating and the words you type are sent to us together with an anonymous install identifier that is not linked to your name or any account. We read that feedback to improve the gardens. Nothing is sent unless you tap send, and your progress and settings still never leave your device. To have feedback you sent deleted, email [email protected] and we will remove it.

What we never do

We do not collect names, email addresses, or contact information in the game. We do not track your location. We do not serve ads or share anything with advertisers. We do not sell data. There is no data to sell.

Children

Lanternfield is a logic puzzle suitable for general audiences. It does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children, because it does not collect information at all.

Changes

If a future version adds optional online features, this policy will be updated before those features launch, and the update will be posted at this same address.
