Lanternfield Terms of Use

Effective November 4, 2026

These terms cover Lanternfield, a puzzle game published by kbird.ai (Kristopher Richards). By playing the game you accept them. They are written in plain language, like our privacy policy.

The short version

Lanternfield is free. Play it and enjoy it. There are no accounts, no ads, and no in-app purchases in the current version. The rest of this page covers the small print in plain words.

Your license to play

We grant you a personal license to install and play Lanternfield on your own devices. You may not sell, rent, or redistribute the game or its artwork, music, or puzzles, and you may not present them as your own work.

Cost and future purchases

The game is free, and everything in the current version is included. If a future version offers an optional one-time paid unlock, that purchase, including payment and refunds, will be handled by the store you buy it through, Google Play or the Apple App Store, under that store's terms. Nothing about a future unlock changes what you already have: content that is free today stays free.

Feedback

If you send feedback through the game, a garden rating or a comment, you keep ownership of your words. By sending it, you allow us to read it and use it to improve the game. Feedback is anonymous, as the privacy policy explains.

The game as provided

Lanternfield is provided as is. We work to keep it free of bugs, but we do not guarantee it will run without interruption on every device. Your progress is stored on your device, and uninstalling the game removes it, so a puzzle in progress can be lost if the app is removed.

Liability

To the extent allowed by law, kbird.ai is not liable for indirect or incidental losses arising from use of the game. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have as a consumer under applicable law.

Changes

If these terms change, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new effective date.
