🚀 QUICK START: 3 STEPS TO PUBLISH

Step 1: Fix the Cover

Choose your approach:

A. KDP Cover Creator (Easiest - 15 minutes)

• Log into KDP → Bookshelf → Edit Paperback → Cover Creator
• Select “Contemporary” or “Minimal” template
• Upload back cover image
• Add bio text using template text boxes (auto-centers, safe margins)
• Generate PDF

B. Manual Fix (If you have source files)

• Open cover in Photoshop/GIMP/Canva
• Add 0.25” safety margin to all text (move everything inward 0.25”)
• Save as PDF, 300 DPI, CMYK

C. Hire Fiverr ($20-50, 24-48 hours)

• Search “KDP paperback cover fix”
• Provide: Current cover + BIOS_KBIRD_AI.md (back cover bios)
• Specify: “Move all text 0.5” from edges”

Step 2: Prepare Documentation

Gather these documents:

Step 3: Submit to KDP

1. Go to KDP → Bookshelf → [Your Book] → Edit Paperback
