PREFACE
This book was written alongside its screenplay, not after it. The science in these pages is real, or as real as I could make it. The model of consciousness as controlled decoherence is a speculation, but it is one grounded in the work of real researchers.
If you have wondered whether the breaking was failure or transformation—know that the pattern requires the breaking to continue.
